National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology is the second largest university in Taiwan in terms of the number of teachers and students. We, as the only department of risk management and insurance in Southern Taiwan, provide optional dual degree program in collaboration with overseas universities, provide students opportunities to study at our sister schools as exchange students, and offer Society of Actuary (SoA, U.S.A.) validation by educational Experience (VEE) courses. The features of the Department are:
